Keeping a clean environment

  • To maintain cleanliness, we recommend changing the pellets every 30 days.
  • The fragrance-free granules provide effective odour control by locking in urine and faecal odours, ensuring a scentless environment that doesn’t stink.
  • The granules remain mostly dry, ensuring your cat’s paws stay clean and dry.
  • Our 99% dust-free pellets mean there is no need for hoovering around your home, as they prevent dust and crumbs from spreading.

Instructions for use

ZeoDeo granules are designed exclusively for use in dual layer cat litter trays.

  1. Layering: Add the pellets to the upper grid. Each 1.8 kg pack provides enough for initial use with a reserve for replenishment. We suggest maintaining a layer depth of 2–3 centimetres.
  2. Pad Placement: Insert a special pad with super absorbent properties into the lower tray.
  3. Waste Removal: Regularly remove solid waste using a dedicated scoop as soon as it appears.
  4. Maintenance: Please dispose of soiled pellets or those stuck to faeces promptly.
  5. Refill: You can add fresh granules as needed to maintain the recommended layer depth.
  6. Disposal: Do not flush used pellets down the toilet.

Following these instructions ensures the most effective use of the pellets in your cat’s litter tray.

How often to change the pellets

Maintaining a clean litter tray is essential for your cat’s comfort and health.

  • For one cat (8 kg) or two small cats: We recommend changing the granules every 30 days to keep the environment fresh and odour-free.
  • For a very small and tidy cat (3 kg): Pellets can be changed every 45–60 days whilst maintaining an odourless environment.
  • Multiple cats or specific conditions: If your cat uses a second litter tray or frequently goes outside, you may find that you can change the pellets less often than every 30 days.
  • For two or three large cats, we recommend changing the granules every 15 days, or more frequently if needed due to soiling.
  • Special circumstances: If your cat experiences diarrhoea, please dispose of all soiled pellets and replenish with new ones to ensure the least stinky and most affordable solution.

Important information

  • Replace the pellets regularly:

It is important to replace the low-tracking and dust-free zeolite cat litter no later than 60 days from initial use, even if it appears clean and odourless. Using pellets for longer than 60 days can pose health risks for both cats and humans, as it may lead to bacterial infections. We recommend changing the granules every 30 days to maintain a clean and safe environment.

  • Pellets cannot be reused:

Once the granules have absorbed urine and other waste, they cannot be washed or reused. Their porous structure, which is similar to silica gel or activated charcoal, makes them unsuitable for washing. It is hazardous to your pet’s health to attempt to reuse the pellets.

Steps to replace the pellets

  1. Dispose of used pellets: Remove the lid from the litter tray and carefully pour the used granules into a bin bag.
  2. Clean the litter tray: We suggest washing the grid and other parts of the litter tray thoroughly with soap or a disinfectant to remove any residue.
  3. Dry and reassemble: Wipe the cleaned parts dry with kitchen roll and reassemble the tray.
  4. Refill with fresh pellets: Add fresh granules from a new package onto the grid and place a new pad in the drawer at the bottom of the litter tray.
  5. Ready for use: Your litter tray is now ready for your cat to use again.

Safety precautions

  • Avoid ingestion: The granules are solid objects. You must prevent ingestion to avoid them entering the oesophagus or respiratory tract. If swallowed by a person or animal, seek immediate medical attention.
  • Eye contact: If pellets get into your eyes, flush them thoroughly with plenty of running water and seek medical attention if irritation persists.
  • Disposal: This product does not dissolve in water, so you must not flush it down the toilet.
  • Primary material: Zeolite, a natural mineral.
