These disposable cat pads are not what you would typically find in a chemist or pet shop. Specifically designed for dual-layer cat litter trays, these litter pads feature a high concentration of super-absorbent polymer, similar to that found in medium-sized baby nappies. This enables the pad to absorb and retain a significant amount of liquid, making them ideal for the job.

Thanks to its precise dimensions, the pad fits snugly into the lower tier of a cat litter tray. Its multi-layered construction guarantees maximum absorption and leak protection, ensuring your cat’s litter box stays clean and dry.

Convenient Replacement

You’ll find them remarkably convenient from the very first use.

The pad sits in a special pull-out tray on the lower level of the litter tray, where it collects any liquid from the upper level.

Replacing the pad is as simple as placing a new one in place and inserting it, much like changing a cartridge.

Typically, you will need to change it every 3-7 days, depending on the number and size of cats using the litter tray.

You’ll hardly have to think about cleaning the litter tray.

Cleanliness and Hygiene

Changing the pad is a clean and simple job.

There is no need to wash the litter tray; it remains dry and clean. What’s more, your cat walks on dry pellets, keeping their paws clean and comfortable.

We think you’ll be impressed with this cleaner, simpler approach.

Your questions answered

How much liquid does the pad absorb?

ZeoDeo pads absorb between 1.5 and 3.5 liters of liquid, depending on the cat's urine composition.

Are these pads safe for my cat?

Yes, the pads are completely safe for your pet. They are similar in structure to baby diapers. In the litter box system, the pad is positioned in a place inaccessible to the cat.

Why is the pad leaking?

The pad is waterproof. If you notice moisture underneath the pad, it could be one of two reasons:
  • The pad was not properly laid out, and the liquid overflowed over its edge (make sure to flatten the edges of the pad before use).
  • The pad is damaged. In this case, replace it with a new one and contact the seller if you have any further questions.

What pads are suitable for a two-level cat litter box?

These litter boxes use special absorbent pads with a built-in absorbent material. We recommend using ZeoDeo pads, as they absorb a large amount of liquid and prevent unpleasant odors.

How often should the absorbent pad be changed?

You will intuitively or through experience know when it's time to change the pad. It's important to catch the moment when the pad is full but no liquid leaks out during the replacement. Lift the pad by the edge, and if liquid appears at the crease of the fold, it’s time to change the pad.
