Each package weighs 1.8 kg (4 lb) and provides one monthly portion.
Every package of ZeoDeo zeolite cat litter contains 1.8 kg of pellets. This includes 1.6 kg to fill your litter tray, plus an additional 200 g to give you extra peace of mind. This ensures you won’t need to buy a second pack before the month is up if some granules become soiled and need removing. ZeoDeo offers an affordable and effective way to maintain a fresh, odour-free home for you and your cat.
Enjoy a clean home
- We recommend changing the unscented cat litter every 30 days to maintain the best hygiene standards.
- The pellets provide effective odour control by absorbing emissions from urine and faeces.
- Because the pellets remain almost entirely dry, your cat’s paws stay clean and comfortable.
- Our low-dust, crumb-free formula ensures a tidy environment without tracking, so you won’t need to hoover around the house.
Usage instructions
Cat litter pellets are designed exclusively for use in dual-layer cat litter trays.
- Pour the granules onto the grate on the upper level. One 1.8 kg package provides a full portion with a helpful reserve; you should ensure the layer is 2–3 centimetres thick.
- Place a dedicated pad with a superabsorbent layer into the lower level of the tray.
- Solid waste should be removed from the tray using a scoop as soon as it appears.
- Please dispose of any soiled pellets or those stuck to the waste.
- You can top up the trackless litter if it becomes necessary.
- Do not flush the pellets down the toilet.
ZeoDeo pellets create a fresh, low-maintenance environment that stays clean. You can enjoy the benefits of a double-layer system designed for your cat’s comfort and your own convenience.
How often to change the pellets
Keeping the tray fresh is essential for a tidy home environment.
- You should change the granules every 30 days if they are used by a single 8 kg cat or two smaller cats.
- For a very small, tidy 3 kg cat, the pellets can last between 45 and 60 days.
- You may find you need to change the granules less frequently if your cat also uses a second tray or spends time outdoors.
- If the tray is shared by two or three large cats, we recommend changing the pellets every 15 days, or more often if they become soiled.
- In the event of diarrhoea, please dispose of all soiled granules and replace them with fresh pellets immediately.
Regular maintenance ensures an odour-free, clean, and tidy tray that efficiently manages your cat’s needs.
Please note
- Pellets must be replaced no later than 60 days after you start using them. Even if they appear clean and odourless, using granules beyond 60 days can pose health risks to both cats and humans due to potential bacterial growth. We recommend a full change every 30 days for optimal hygiene.
- Pellets cannot be washed or reused. The porous structure — similar to silica gel or activated charcoal — absorbs waste that cannot be fully removed through washing. Attempting to reuse granules is ineffective and potentially hazardous to your pet’s health.
Pellet replacement procedure
- Remove the cover and place the used granules into a bin bag for disposal.
- Thoroughly wash the grate and other tray components with soap or a disinfectant.
- Wipe the parts dry with kitchen roll and reassemble the tray.
- Add a fresh package of pellets onto the grate and place a new pad in the bottom drawer.
- Your litter tray is now ready for use.
Precautions
- Do not ingest the pellets. They are solid objects and must not enter the oesophagus or respiratory tract. Seek immediate medical attention if they are swallowed by a person or an animal.
- If granules get into the eyes, rinse with plenty of running water. Consult a doctor if irritation persists.
- This product is not water-soluble and must not be flushed down the toilet.
- The main material is zeolite, which is a natural mineral.
